Ash Polley

Ashleigh Polley

Director and Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist

Ash is a passionate and experienced therapist who enjoys helping children with varying diagnoses achieve their life goals in a fun manner. Ash graduated from Curtin University with First Class Honours after completing her Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy, Honours). Ash has also completed postgraduate studies graduating from Monash University with her Masters in Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapy through Monash University. Ash is an APA Titled Paediatric Physiotherapist.

Prior to co-founding Little Bodies Therapy in 2020, Ash gained exceptional observational and clinical reasoning skills through her various experiences working in both private and not-for-profit sectors. In particular, Ash has worked in centres providing intensive therapy services to children Australia wide. Ash can provide a thorough assessment and develop meaningful therapy goals for clients targeting the child and family’s life goals. Using clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice she can outline and help execute the path to achieve these goals. Ash enjoys and has extensive experience in equipment prescription.

Outside of work, Ash enjoys spending time with her beautiful daughter and two fur babies who keeps her very busy, her family and friends, or being outdoors.

Career Achievements

  • Ash is a published author in Paediatric Physical Therapy. Her honours research explored the effects of an adaptive bungee trampoline for children with Cerebral Palsy. 

  • Ash has presented her honours research findings at national conferences in Australia and overseas in New Zealand.
