Meet the Team
Benjamin Ivankovic
Senior Exercise Physiologist
Ben is an Exercise Physiologist with a strong passion for supporting children and adolescents to move, learn, and connect with confidence. He completed his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science & Rehabilitation, followed by a Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology at Curtin University. His interest in youth development began during university while completing an internship with the Subiaco Football Club colts and working as a sports trainer with the West Perth WAFLW team.
Ben began his career in Melbourne at a neurodevelopmental clinic in Port Melbourne, where he used a neuro-affirming, strengths-based approach to support children with ASD, ADHD, GDD, and a range of mental health presentations including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and OCD. During this time, he delivered sensorimotor programming and completed additional training in understanding primitive reflexes and supporting primitive reflex integration to enhance children’s functional development. Before returning to Perth, Ben also worked at a specialist school in Ballarat, supporting students with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, developmental delays, anxiety, and emotional regulation challenges.
Ben is dedicated to creating safe, inclusive, and engaging environments where children and teens can develop physical skills, improve emotional regulation, and participate more meaningfully in their everyday lives.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his partner and their energetic German Shorthaired Pointer, who ensures the household stays active.
