Meet the Team
Ben Polmear
Senior Physiotherapist
Ben is a highly skilled and compassionate physiotherapist with a strong passion for paediatrics. Ben graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Notre Dame and has since developed extensive experience supporting children and their families across a wide range of developmental and physical needs. During his university training, Ben completed a paediatric placement where his passion for working with children truly flourished, shaping the career path he continues to follow today.
As a Senior Physiotherapist, Ben brings a holistic, evidence-based approach to therapy, with a strong focus on functional goals, child-led play, and family-centred care. He is highly committed to ongoing professional development and consistently strives to deliver high-quality, individualised therapy to support each child’s growth, independence, and participation in everyday life. Ben values collaboration and works closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for his clients.
Ben has extensive experience working with children both professionally and within the community. This includes caring for his niece and nephew, assisting at local vacation care and early childhood centres, and coaching children’s tennis for over six years. Through coaching, Ben developed strong skills in communication, motivation, and building confidence in children while helping them develop both physical skills and a love for movement.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys a very active lifestyle and loves participating in sports and outdoor activities such as football, basketball, cycling, and spending time at the beach. He also values downtime with friends and family, especially with his niece and nephew.
