Meet the Team
Meg Bwye
Senior Occupational Therapist
Meg is a passionate paediatric therapist with a strong commitment to supporting children with disabilities and their families to thrive in everyday life. Meg graduated from Curtin University with an Honours degree in a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy), where her interest in working with children with complex needs grew.
Throughout her studies, she worked as a disability support worker, which supported her clinical approach and gave her an appreciation for the importance of collaboration, family centred care and understanding the child within their home and community environments. This experience confirmed her passion for working with children and reinforced the value of a wholistic approach to achieve, meaningful and functional outcomes.
Meg has completed additional training since working as an occupational therapist in a range of evidence-based assessments and interventions. These qualifications allow her to tailor therapy to each child’s individual strengths, challenges and goals, with a strong focus on upper limb function and hand skills for participation in all daily activities.
Meg is dedicated to providing strength based and child led therapy and supporting families with strategies that fit them! Meg wants to motivate children to build skills, confidence and independence in all activities of daily living, all whilst having fun!
In her spare time, Meg loves hanging out with her family and friends, beach, playing with her fur baby and all the sweet treats.
