Sharne Pires

Sharn Pires

Physiotherapist

Sharn is a passionate and enthusiastic physiotherapist with a strong interest in neurology and paediatrics. She graduated from The University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and has since dedicated herself to supporting children and young people to reach their fullest functional potential.

Sharn has developed experience working with children across a variety of community, sporting, and recreational settings. Over the past eight years she has coached netball, supported junior athletes through four years of AFL sports training, and contributed many years to the Scarborough Surf Life Saving Club, where she continues to volunteer as a qualified lifeguard. These roles have strengthened her ability to build rapport with children, understand their goals, and create engaging therapy environments.

During university, Sharn discovered her passion for neurological and paediatric physiotherapy. She completed multiple placements in these areas, including at Perth Children’s Hospital, where she furthered her understanding of developmental, neuromuscular, and complex care conditions. Sharn is committed to delivering playful, child-centred therapy that empowers families and celebrates progress at every step.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at the beach, travelling, playing netball, and listening to music.
