Ben Ivankovic

Ben completed his undergraduate studies in Exercise Science & Rehabilitation in 2020, followed by a Master’s in Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2022 at Curtin University. He relocated to Melbourne to gain paediatric experience, working at a Neurodevelopmental clinic in Port Melbourne, where he used a neuro-affirming approach to deliver therapy, focusing on children with ASD, ADHD, GDD, and related mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and OCD.
Throughout university, Ben completed an internship with the Subiaco Football Club’s colt’s team and worked as a sports trainer with the women’s WAFLW team at the West Perth Football Club, which sparked his interest in working with youth and adolescents. Prior to moving home (Perth), he worked at a specialist school in Ballarat, supporting children with CP, Down Syndrome, anxiety, depression, GDD, and emotional regulation difficulties.
Ben is passionate about creating inclusive, safe, and engaging spaces for children and teenagers to practise physical activity, enhancing their ability to interact with peers, navigate their environments, manage emotional regulation, and improve overall quality of life. When not at work, Ben enjoys spending time with his partner and their energetic German Shorthaired Pointer puppy, who keeps the household on their toes.
